Garden
areas serve as a rich source of visual, tactile and olfactory
stimulation. 2008 will see us completing two out of four of our new
landscaped garden areas at the home, together with secure walkways,
benched seating areas and access at will to the fresh air and sunshine
of the south coast.
The landscaped gardens remove the distinction between
internal and external space and encourage access and response to the natural environment.
Residents are able to choose to leave the building whilst still being
in a secure and assessed environment , and staff are notified
automatically whenever a resident is in the gardens. |
